Clear Comfort Awaits You!
Whether you need an authentic Victorian cottage for a period drama or a breathtaking backdrop for a contemporary piece, the Alice Austen House has just what you’re looking for!
The Alice Austen House and grounds make a great backdrop for your film or photoshoot. With views of the iconic Verrazano Bridge and the NYC Harbor, rooms date back to the 17th and 18th Centuries, and feature original masonry, massive wooden beams, and fragile centuries old plaster. Clear Comfort and the grounds provide a pastoral backdrop in the heart of a bustling metropolis.
Please note: Due to the fragility and historic sensitivity of the structure, extra care is required of photographers and crew members. There is limited electricity on the grounds.
Please contact Victoria Munro at victoria@aliceausten.org to inquire about availability.
